This site is called ‘the plenary’ because it’s a way of reviewing what I have learned from my experiences in the classroom. It’s also a way of collecting some of my ideas for future reference.

I am an AST and English teacher working in North Yorkshire. I am interested in all aspects of English teaching, particularly grammar for writing and strategies for reading and writing poetry. If you’ve found my blog useful or interesting, please leave a comment. Alternatively, look me up on Twitter – @kerrypulleyn.

Really useful blog Kerry. I’d be grateful if you could send me electronic copies of the writing resources. Thanks Paul
